Since this blog is mainly for the twins to have something to look back on when they are older, I wanted to quickly record some really funny things they've been saying lately. They really make Mike and me laugh all the time!
Cameron:
"What's your name?" This is said with a furrowed brow, a pencil in his hand and a piece of paper in front of him. Upon telling Mr. Cameron your name, he then writes down said name on the paper. Allie asks the same question but not with as much seriousness as Cameron. And when I tell Alllie my name is Kelly Rocchi, she says, "Noooo! Your name is Mommy Rocchi!"
"What you want?" This question is asked with the same furrowed brow but this question is asking us what we would like to eat. When he asks this question, he makes sure he is standing behind something that acts as a luncheon counter. One night, my answer was pizza. He then scurried back to his bedroom and brought out and armful of trains. This was my pizza I had ordered and it was delicious!
"Mommy, I see something!" This one I hear about every 5 minutes. He usually does see something because his eyesight is impeccable! What he sees can range from a little bug crawling on a flower, to a spider web, to something that he thinks is a pile of poop...yes, a pile of poop. If I don't report to him immediately to see whatever he sees, he then says, "Mommy, come! Mommy, look!" while beckoning to me with his little hand.
"What dat boom?" No, that is not a typo. He indeed says "dat" for "that". This is slowly morphing into, "Mommy, I hear something!" but it always has the same hand gesture -- hand up to his hear but turned out instead of in to cup his ear.
Allie:
Allie is a little chatter box but her actions truly do speak louder than words. She is so kind and I can only hope this continues on in her life. If we are out and about, and she sees something that she knows Cameron would like, she instantly says, "Cameron, look!!!" If Cameron is still napping, Allie will select a toy that she takes back with us when it's time to wake Cameron up. She is always so happy when Cameron accepts the toy because she knows she made him happy.
She is also starting to become very good at making weird voices. When I first started dating Mike, he always did this. He would say a completely normal sentence, but in a weird voice. Allie does the same and it is hysterical!
Allie always wants to have everyone included. While we were at the Philadelphia Zoo I was sitting next to her on a bench. She then beckoned Cameron over and told him where to sit and then beckoned Daddy over and told him where to sit. She likes to have our little family always partaking in activities together!
Her current favorite food is ham right now...hearing her ask for "More ham, please" is just about the cutest thing ever. She pronounced ham like "hahm" -- very British sounding!\
We are loving our summer together!!!
