It's Like Holding the Sun in the Palm of Your Hand....

I've been listening to a really great book by Brene Brown called "Daring Greatly".  One part of it actually made me start crying in the car as I listened to it because it resonated with me so much.  She was talking about how we should all try to feel joy in every day things and moments -- something I've always done and believe is the reason I have been so resilient these past four years.  I allow myself to find joy in the small things which I have stockpiled up over my entire life -- I now can draw on those moments to help me through the tough, tough days.
Tonight will be filed away for a very long time.  Mike is out with friends doing whatever guys do during March Madness time.  The twins and I decided to hang on the patio and watch the sun set.  Our temporary house has a beautiful view of what I believe is Center Valley and an equally beautiful view of the sunset each night.  Tonight was the first night we took the time to sit and watch the sun go down.

Being silly as we prepared for the sun to set!

Cool dance moves, dude!

Our view!!!

Getting closer!

I forgot how much I love this camera!!!  It's a bit stinky from the fire but it still works!

I was trying to get the sun in the middle of their kiss -- so close!

Allie holding the sun!

Ha!  We tried!

Almost there!

Selfie silly time!

We then moved over to the chaise lounges to admire the moon and the beautiful pink sky.  I always love when the sky is pink - makes me think Mom is saying hello.

 More silliness....
Love those baby blues...

...and my brown eyed girl.

Tonight was good for the soul!
