I ran in the St. Luke's Half Marathon 2 weeks ago. I crossed the finish line in 2:01....I was hoping to get under 2 hours this time but didn't quite make it. I remember telling Mike the day after the fire, "Guess I won't be running in the half this year." I thought there would be no way to get myself recovered from a house fire and in shape enough to run 13.1 miles in 2 and a half months but the human body is an amazing thing! Glad to have my cheerleaders along the route!!
The twins helped me pick this shirt out at the race expo. The back had Nelson Mandella's quote,
"It always seems impossible until it's done."
I thought that quote was VERY appropriate for this race!

| Thanks again, Erin! |
Speaking of Erin, we had a super fun day in the city last week. It's so wonderful to reconnect with a college friend...and also nice to spend a day together with NO kids and NO husbands! Ha!

| Homage to my Momma! We always liked to grab a pretzel from a street vendor on the way back to the bus! |
We love our bird houses that Daddy hung up at the "new" house....
We're finding our cousin Aria to be pretty fun to hang out with now that's she's getting a bit bigger!
And everyone is currently exhausted from an amazing weekend at the beach celebrating Mother's Day....this is TO BE CONTINUED!!!!!!!
